With its distinctive design, the Paris Galibier made a big splash in the cycling scene after World War 2, and Paris lightweights became very popular. Ladies were offered a mixte model, the TYPE DAME, with a curved instead of straight tube and a semi-circular frame brace. Frame no 3228 is the oldest of the four known surviving examples.
